The Project provides support to families with children who are between 5 and 13 years old and who have arrived in the city during the last three years from outside the UK. Many families are refugees or seeking asylum. We provide assistance to help them to access mainstream support services such as schools, GPs, dentists, housing services, benefits advice etc. We also aim to help families become less isolated and excluded from society by meeting people from their home community and locally in the area where they are living.
